Dericka's Story
I didn’t always plan to become a therapist. But after experiencing an invalidating session myself, I knew there had to be a better way. I started Hermosa to create the kind of affirming, non-clinical, radically honest therapy space I wish I had.
I work with neurodivergent adults — many of whom also navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and cultural disconnection. I focus on understanding the full picture, without trying to "fix" you.
Hermosa is named after a beach that reminds me of freedom and joy. It’s a reminder that therapy doesn’t have to be rigid — it can be human, collaborative, and liberating.
